Portikus is an renowned institution for contemporary art.
Since its inception in 1987 and as an essential part of Hochschule für Bildende Künste – Städelschule it dedicates exhibitions, publications, and discussions to the work of young, emerging, and established artists. Site-specific projects by international artists are presented several times a year.
Entrance is free. Guided tours can be booked in advance.
