The multi-award-winning museum building on Schaumainkai offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the history of communications.
The permanent exhibition “Hi|stories of media – A new telling” showcases the evolution of human ways of communicating. The museum traces the development from cuneiform tablets to data glasses by way of groundbreaking inventions, curious occurrences, and unusual fortunes. The first floor houses the forum for smaller temporary exhibitions, while more extensive special exhibitions are shown on the 2nd floor.
The Art and Communication section and the lively offerings of the children’s workshop are real attractions.
